Project Overview

This was a UI/UX group project in which we were tasked with redesigning an existing website of our choosing that users were looking to be improved. For this project, we chose to redesign the ONE.UF website, which is an electronic portal for students, staff, and faculty at the University of Florida.

Problem

ONE.UF contains major issues, mainly pertaining to visibility and hierarchy. The current layout is too convoluted. ONE.UF is an incredibly important tool for students, as well as faculty and staff. Thus, these concerns prompted my team and I to propose a redesign of the website that would improve user experience.

Solution

Redesign ONE.UF with intention by implementing the Principles of Design and the Gestalt Principles, ensuring that each feature is placed in order of importance.
